Our custom multipliers give you the ion optics, optimal geometry, and performance that you demand in your application. With the DeTech multiplier process being flexible, we encourage and often challenge scientists to customize the geometry of their multiplier requirements. At DeTech, we fully believe that every instrument should have an optimized solution—and that often requires customization of multipliers. This philosophy has made DeTech the world leader in supporting NASA, Universities, and Research Scientists with experimental units for various special applications. We have advanced mechanical solid modeling capability and the process can begin simply with a phone call to one of our design engineers.

Copper Beryllium Rebuilds - Detector Technology’s Everlast™ product line is the only multiplier that can offer an enhancement in performance to the old style Copper Beryllium multiplier. Because the EverLast™ has been specially designed with a larger channel than the standard CEM it is able to have the extended linearity that is required in Copper Beryllium applications.

Detector Technology offers a rebuild option for this style of multiplier. During a rebuild the used Copper Beryllium unit is sent to Detector Technology. The Copper plates are removed and a new EverLast™ single channel multiplier is installed. DeTech stocks various styles of EverLast™ elements and usually has a very quick turnaround time. In the case that the element is not a stocked item DeTech can custom manufacture an element to fit the mechanical requirements of the assembly. All units are 100% tested and guaranteed like brand new units.

Miniaturized Multipliers - The Series 2000 twisted technology allows DeTech to offer the widest array of miniaturized single channel multipliers in the industry. With the ability to twist the internal channel of the detector, it allows us to shrink the overall length of the unit and produce channels that are significantly smaller in length. In addition, the internal channel twist allows us to eliminate the bend in the channel to prevent ion feedback. This feature lends to a wide array of shapes and sizes that can be produced.
